To fight the good fight of faith and to win, we must cry out to God for help knowing that He heeds our prayer. There may be no visible solution in sight, but as we trust in Him, He graciously and wonderfully gives us the victory.
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." [2]
The key to victory in this sin-riddled world is to be in Christ. Let Christ have your life. Surrender your life to Him! Christ makes new creations out of those who give Him their shattered lives.
"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." [3]
Christ Jesus our Lord took our sins upon Himself on the cross. He did not die for His sin. He died for my sin and yours. When we ask Him to take away our sin, He does. And He bestows on us His righteous merits, which God the Father acknowledges and blesses.
Faith in Christ is the way of victory no matter which kind of battle this world wages against us to test us. We praise Him. We wait on Him. We tell Him plainly what we need, and He responds to our cry for help. In due season, we see an answer greater than we asked for or imagined. Praise the Lord!
