My Hong Kong Youth for Christ (HKYFC) Experience (1985-1987)

The Lord has been so incredibly gracious to me throughout my life.

My opportunity to work alongside Hong Kong Youth for Christ Director David Chu as his assistant is one such example.

I would love to see similar developments happen for our young people in Kirksville.

For example...

Graphic art seminar to give young people tools to promote with posters and other materials the Gospel sharing ministry.

Public speaking seminar to give young people tools to speak before hundreds.

Acting seminar to give young people tools to do skits for evangelistic meetings.

Music and singing seminar to give young people tools for music ministry.

Writing and publishing seminars to give young people tools to promote the Gospel.

Evangelism and Discipleship seminars to give young people tools to win souls to Christ and disciple them.

HKYFC was blessed with three departments of staff: Evangelism, Follow-up and Training.

HKYFC had access to do programs in 450 schools in Hong Kong as well as at detentions centers, shopping malls, and public venues with high volumes of people traffic.

We need to develop ministry skills and identify venues where we can minister to young people.

HKYFC reached many souls for Christ on a weekly basis.

I am looking to the Lord for our young people. “Lord, please help us to help them. Help us to give them tools that will help them serve You and to be blessings to this world for many years to come. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”
