Lack of bread in all your places –
“Yet you have not returned to Me.”
Lack of rain –
“Yet you have not returned to Me.”
Blight, mildew, locust consuming gardens, vineyards, and groves –
“Yet you have not returned to Me.”
Plagues and war –
“Yet you have not returned to Me.”
Overthrow of cities –
“Yet you have not returned to Me.”
Finally, He said, “I will do this to you,
Prepare to meet your God, O Israel!” [1]
Jesus told a Roman Governor…
“My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” [2]
Fight is precisely what Michael did when Satan launched a coup against God in heaven…
“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So, the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” [3]
The Lord says it is time to return to Him. Not half-heartedly, but as if our lives depended on Him… which they do. He says…
“It is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” [4]
“Dear Heavenly Father, we turn to You. We know that You created and sustain all things. Thank You. You have shown us through the life of Your Son Jesus Christ the example of deeply loving You (God) and others. Please place Your perfect love in us, love like a mother for her child, so that we fight for You and for our neighbor… make sacrifices of love for You and Your kingdom. This we pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
