How fitting that the last book of the Bible is entitled, “Revelation” which means to uncover, unveil, and reveal. Satan’s propaganda against God and the Bible are strong because his time is short. He is trying to create a culture of lies against God and His people, but ultimately his plan will fail. However, until the Lord throws the devil and his followers into the Lake of Fire, we need divine revelation from Jesus Christ to know and stand for the truth… and that is the very reason our Lord Jesus Christ gave His servants the book of Revelation.
Below is a collection of Bible passages about divine revelation. My comments are in italics.
Revelation 1:1
“The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon take place...”
Galatians 1:15-16
“When God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the nations, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.” Christ revealed Himself to Paul so that Paul could reveal Christ to the nations.
Genesis 35:7
“There he built an altar, and he called the place El Bethel, because it was there that God revealed Himself to him when he was fleeing from his brother.” God revealed Himself to Jacob when he was under duress.
Genesis 41:25
“Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, ‘The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what He is about to do.’” God revealed the future to Pharaoh through Joseph to preserve the lives of His people from starvation.
Numbers 12:6
“When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.”
Psalm 19:1-2
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.” God reveals Himself through the Bible and through creation.
Jeremiah 11:18
“The Lord revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing.” The Lord revealed their plot to Jeremiah to save his life from them.
Daniel 2:19
“During the night, the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision…”
Daniel 2:22-23
“He [God] reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. ‘I thank and praise You, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, You have made known to me what we asked of You, You have made known to us the dream of the king.’”
Daniel 2:29-30
“…He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be. But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart.”
Daniel 2:47
“The king said to Daniel, “Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.”
Amos 3:7
“Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.”
Amos 4:13
“He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals His thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is His Name.”
Matthew 11:25
“At that time Jesus said, ‘I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to little children.’”
Matthew 11:27
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.”
Matthew 16:17
“Jesus replied, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.’”

John 17:6
“I have revealed You to those whom You gave Me out of the world.”
Romans 1:17-18
“For in the Gospel the righteousness of God is revealed – a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’ The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.”
Romans 10:20
“Isaiah boldly says, ‘I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.’”
1 Corinthians 2:9-11
“As it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love Him; these are the things God has revealed to us by His Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God."
1 Corinthians 4:1
“This, then, is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.”
1 Corinthians 4:10-11
“We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that His life may also be revealed in our mortal body.”
Galatians 3:23
“Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.”
2 Timothy 1:9-11
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. And of this Gospel I was appointed a herald, an apostle, and a teacher.”
Revelation 15:4
“…All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
