True Prophets of God

The worst judgment is for God to stop contending with us to believe in Him, and to abandon us so that we live for sin. In the days of Noah, God said, “My Spirit shall not always strive with man.” [1] Martin Luther wrote, “Sin is the disease, the Gospel is the remedy.” We need to be convicted of sin so that we thirst for healing. We need to receive Christ and all He has done for our salvation so that our thirst for rescue and salvation from sin is quenched.

I’m praying that every believer in Christ will function in the true sense of a prophet of God, that is, to point people to God’s Messiah, Jesus Christ, for salvation.

“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” [2]
