The Loving Rebuke of Christ that Save Sinners

Those who collected sea shells along the seashore rejoiced when the waters receded greatly. That was until a giant tsunami wave came rolling in and took them away. I wonder how many people are rejoicing that there is little conviction of sin, little repentance of sin and fewer people drawing near to God. It is a not a good sign when sinning is increasing, and conviction of it is decreasing.

Let us pray for our loved ones and acquaintances that the Lord Jesus by His Word and His Spirit will replace distance from God with closeness to God.

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” (Hosea 10:12)
