One day, Saul of Tarsus was breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, and another day, he preached the Christ in the synagogues [public gathering places], “that He [Christ] is the Son of God.” [1]
What happened?
Saul had an encounter with the Savior. After that meeting, he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank. The Lord sent a man named Ananias to restore his sight to him. [2]
Ananias said to him, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately, there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. [3]
“Saul increased all the more in strength... proving that this Jesus is the Christ [Messiah].” [4]
“Oh Lord, please raise up for us servants like Your servant Saul. Your Church needs a booster shot.”
