We are incredibly blessed to have a Creator who reveals to us what we need to know. God gave to Jesus a book full of revelations about things which must shortly take place. Jesus sent His revelation to His servant John via an angel. John in turn, wrote it down, and made it available to seven churches in Asia minor. The Lord has preserved this book for us. [1]
John glorified Jesus Christ for dying on the cross to wash away our sins, and for making us kings and priests to Father God. “To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” [2]
One revelation is that Jesus Christ is returning, and everyone will see Him.
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” [3]
Another revelation is that Jesus Christ is one with God. As God is, so is He. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” [4]
Jesus Christ gave John a vision of Him in the heavenly places.
“I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead.” [5]
The Son of Man refers to Jesus Christ as God enfleshed in human form. In truth, humans are made in His image. In this vision, Jesus is clothed in a garment with a golden band around His chest. His hair is white. His eyes are bright like fire. His feet are beautiful like high quality brass. His voice sounds like the rumble of great amounts of water falling. In other words, Jesus has a mighty river of life coming out of Him. He holds seven stars in His right hand. These are the seven messengers of the seven churches. In other words, they are faithful to present Him to their churches because the hand of the Good Shepherd is holding them and helping them to do so. To God be the glory! The sharp two-edged sword that proceeds from His mouth is the Word of God. Scripture calls the Word of God a sword. [6] Scripture helps us to remove falsehood from truth. The face of Jesus Christ shines as the sun. He is the light of the world. [7] He is the spiritual light that enlightens the soul so that we can see God. John is so overwhelmed by the glory of Christ that he falls at His feet as though dead.
Jesus Christ laid His right hand on John. He revealed to John that He is the resurrected One from the dead, and that He will never die again. Jesus holds the keys of Hades and of Death. Jesus said to John. “Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels (or messengers) of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.” [8]
Although the Revelation of Jesus Christ was initially sent to seven messengers and churches located in Asia minor, His revelation is still relevant and applicable for messengers and churches today. We should read it. We should ask the Holy Spirit to make it understandable and teachable for us. The Lord wants people to know what shall happen.
Jesus Christ said to John, “Blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” The Lord instructed John by His angel, saying, “Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” [9]
I echo here what Jesus said to John. Know and keep these sayings! Read them! Pray and ask the Lord for wisdom and understanding to know their meaning and application! Get to together with other believers and study them! The Lord says that He is coming quickly. The quickly here means that He will appear suddenly. Like a lightning flash. [10]

The Revelation of Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus has graced me with revelations from the Book of Jeremiah that are helpful to better understanding the relevance of the Law, the Prophets, the Gospel, the Apostles, and the Book of Revelation. I am in the midst of preparing 54 video-recorded presentations, one for each chapter of Jeremiah, plus an intro and conclusion presentation. When the presentations are done, I plan to publish them on YouTube. I also welcome invitations to share these revelations in-person. In the meantime, I publish articles online, intercede for the peoples of the nations, and say to the Lord, “Here am I Lord, send me.”
