“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” [1]
“Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them.” [2]
“…I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” [3]
Our Lord Jesus cherished and obeyed God’s laws. He contended with evil. He poured out His soul to save sinners. He was numbered with transgressors while dying between two criminals. He took the sin of humankind upon Himself. He gives His righteousness to us who believe in Him. This is grace immense and free. He lives. Daily, He makes intercession for us. O to be like Him, cherishing and keeping God’s laws and yet full of grace and forgiveness towards all people.

He took the sin of humankind upon Himself. He gives His righteousness to those who simply believe in Him. This is grace immense and free. He lives. He makes intercession for us who daily cross lines that God does not want us to transgress. O to be like Him – cherishing and keeping God’s laws and yet full of grace and forgiveness towards all people.
